About Boxers N More Rescue South

About Our Rescue Group...

we save dogs from death row and urgent situations. primarily Boxers but other breeds as finances and room in foster homes permits. all our dogs are given full vet exams, neutered/spayed , Vaccinated, Tested and treated for parasites, groomed, treated for fleas, and put on flea, tick and heart worm preventative . All dogs are housebroken and social and home skills are taught. We Match the dogs personality and energy level and other needs to the applicants, we place dogs with home best for dog.
Our primary concern is the well being of the pets taken into our care, sometimes a person is approved to adopt- but we suggest a pet more suited to their attributes... rather then do a mis-match that may result in dog being returned to rescue for not "fitting in".

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a public shelter, all dogs are kept in private homes by our wonderful loving volunteer foster humans until adopted. Pet Meet and greets are encouraged after an application is verified.. Meet and greets take place during daylight hours and in public place for safety of all concerned. We sometimes hold adoption event's where you can meet dogs, but they can not be adopted until we complete our adoption verification process noted above LIKE US

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Application, verification of information, Reference check, proof animals are permitted where you live, Home interview, if approved to adopt an adoption contract and fee is required, also any pet adopted from us must be returned to us if you are unable to keep pet for any reason, we do not want adopters taking pet to shelters, re-homing pets themselves (we want to properly screen new home) .
