Seriously, there's no better word to describe this precious mama. Wilma came to us via animal control after she and just one puppy were found as strays. Wilma was skinny, skinny, skinny -- about 30 pounds when found and about a healthy 40 now, so still pretty little even though she's back to fabulous.
Her first few years were clearly rough on her little body (she's estimated to be about 3 years old), and she's had at least two litters of pups, but like all of these dogs who come to us from unknown or terrible backgrounds, you would never know. She's friendly, she's gentle, and she soaks up love from people she knows and strangers alike. It's like she can't get enough. And she has the most soulful, grateful brown eyes.
She's great in the crate, great on the leash, great in the car, knows her basic manners, and she's awesome with dogs at daycare and is having a love affair with her two canine foster sisters. She's just awesome all around!
If you'd like to meet this sweet mama, please fill out an application at www.bullseyerescue.com and we'll be in touch.
Her adoption fee is $275 and requires an adoption application (bullseyerescue.com), interview and meet n greet, personal and vet references, and a home check. Due to our small size, we're unable to adopt out of state (located in Atlanta, Georgia).
