DOB guess 5/4/14 40 lbs Miss Affectionate Emma is such a good girl, and is searching for her forever family. Looking for a companion, that is past that "puppy stage"? Then Emma might be for you! We are guessing her to possibly be Lab/Border Collie Mix. She loves cuddles, kisses and belly rubs. Everyone who meets her says how sweet she is, with good manners. She has become very social, loves people, even strangers. Watching her play and run around the yard, her foster mom believes she would love to participate in agility classes. Also, Emma would make a great running partner. Playing with the other dogs in her foster home, is one of her favorite things to do. It has also been fun watching her learn to play with toys, which she now enjoys. Currently not crated, she is fine loose in the house, since her foster mom is with her all day but she is crate trained. Not uncommon, she is not a fan of loud noises like storms, fireworks, and sensitive to 'yelling'. If you would like to meet fun loving Emma, please go to www.alwaysroom4morepaws.com to read about our adoption process and fill out an application. *Breed and age are a guess, and not a guarantee.
Always Room 4 More Paws is a small group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and re-homing companion animals. Most of our animals are rescued from high kill shelters and are temporarily housed in a loving foster home until they find their forever home. Our foster homes provide love, socialization and start the animal on basic training. Since our animals are in foster homes, we are able to learn about their individual personalities which aids in making a great match with their forever family.
Always Room 4 More Paws is a not-for-profit tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization. This status allows us to seek outside financial assistance. We do not receive any federal, state, or local funds. Nearly all of our funding is received from the general public through donations. Please visit our donation page to see how you can help and for information on our upcoming fundraisers.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Once we have an approved application, we will set up a time and location for a meet and greet. We will also have some adoption events at the Petco on Randall, in South Elgin.
Our Adoption Process...
The first step in the adoption process is to complete and return an application. The application helps us learn a little bit about you and your family and lifestyle. This information aids in making sure that a suitable match is made and will result in a forever home for your new family member. Upon completion please email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please go to www.alwaysroom4morepaws.com to find our Adoption Application
After receipt and review of your application you will be contacted by us to discuss the animals available for adoption. Please be patient while we review your application. Please complete all sections so that we can ensure a suitable match between your lifestyle and the animals we have available. Once a possible match has been identified, we will set up a meeting. All members of the family (including any dogs in the family if you are looking to adopt a dog) are required to attend this initial meeting. Once a match has been obtained, the final step in the adoption process is the completion of a signed adoption contract and the payment of the adoption fee. Our adoption fees are:
$250 for dogs; $325 for puppies Your adoption fee helps to cover the following items for all animals as applicable: Spay/Neuter Surgery Rabies Vaccination Distemper Combo Vaccination Microchip Deworming Heartworm Test Flea/Tick Prevention Heartworm Preventative
