My name is Dora!

Chihuahua Mix Dog for adoption in Acworth, Georgia - Dora

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Dora's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dora's Story...
8 years old, 6 pounds. Dora is very shy and scared but she loves to he held and protected. She has come out of her shell but it took a couple of weeks. She now is sitting in everyone's laps and going for walks in the woods with her doggie siblings and foster parents. She is curious but this newfound life of scary things, noises, squirrels, door bells, etc, makes a little nervous still. She is good with dogs, cats and humans. We prefer a home without children or older kids who understand she just needs a special quiet TLC home

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200 ($150 for senior). You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs. To apply, simply go to www.forgottenpaws.com.

Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appointment can be set to meet a dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dora, a Acworth Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Acworth, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Acworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
