My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the dazzling duo of Starksy and Hutch. These 10 year old, standard dachshund brothers are searching for a home together. Starchy and Hutch each weigh 28 pounds and are classic standard red dachshunds.

Starsky and Hutch love to sleep in the big bed and are happiest when they are together. They love to go for walks on a leash in their foster home in Texas and love to have tummy rubs. They are working on their crate training and getting better about being left but will whine a bit.

These happy boys are lap dogs and have learned to walk on a leash. They do love to take long walks and enjoy swimming in a pool too! Starsky and Hutch are housetrained, but like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in his environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.

Hutch is a bit on the shy side at first but his playful nature will come out over time. Both of these boys love to have a tummy rub and lots of love. They are very well behaved boys and even submit to having their nails trimmed!
