Syd's Info...

Syd's Story...
Syd is officially available for adoption! He does have a heart condition requiring daily medication (Enacard and Vetmedin) but we don't know if that will be the required regimen forever or if his needs will be adjusted eventually. However, this little lover is a DREAM for someone who wants a dog just wanting to love you! He isn't a super active dog, so he'd be great for those wanting a traveling companion...or a little lap dog, although he's plenty happy enough to curl up in a dog bed by your feet or to just lay back and get tummy rubs (pictured below). He is a good little boy and he isn't one to demand your bed or the furniture. Syd gets along great with my other dogs, but I'm not sure about cats. Syd truly looks like a miniature spectacled bear and he is only about 5-6 lbs! Please email Linda ( for information on how to adopt Syd or visit

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Syd, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
