Roxeanne's Story...
Roxanne (aka Roxy) is a female American Rottweiler (black and tan) who weighs 70 pounds and is approximately 4 years old. She is very loving and craves affection! She is house broken, good with children, cats and dogs of all size (even small yapping ones!). She likes to play outside and loves to swim! Roxy is still getting used to walking on leash and can tend to pull a bit. She is heartworm positive but will begin treatments soon. This is a great dog who wants nothing more than to be close to her person. Roxy is goofy, sweet and just plain adorable. She is not a barker, is actually quite meek in nature and would be most happy in a home with a fenced yard and a companion!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxeanne, a Burlington Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
