Venus's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Venus's Story...
My name is Venus the Love Bug because I am SOOO affectionate!! My favorite past times are getting LOTS of luvies from my hoo-mans and giving head bumps in return, hanging out watching TV with them (& yes, I like to steal their popcorn on occasion too when they're not looking! ;) ), and napping dreaming of my fur-ever family that will continue to lavish me with eternal love!

Ya see, I got off to a rough start... I came from a hoarding case that animal control had to come in to rescue us, and many of my friends were sick with upper respiratory infections because there were just too many of us in one home. The nice lady at AC contacted Purrs & Whiskers rescue to rescue me out of the shelter. Initially it was thought that I might have baby kittens inside me, but while I may have had kittens in the past, the good "mews" is that I was not preggers! So P&W got me all healthy, caught up on my vaccinations, and spayed so I can never have any "oopsies" again! I may be close to 6 years old, but I certainly don't act like it... I'm a young kitty at heart! So... don't you want to adopt me and let me love on you and give you LOTS of head bumps?? I'll be here waiting... =^.,.^=

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Venus, a Stafford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
