My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freckles is one of the most adorable puppies...we just love him! This cutie pie was born on 5/17/16 and currently weighs 9 pounds. He was part of a litter of 8 we rescued out of a kill shelter. Freckles is friendly, playful and seems to love everyone - dogs, cats and humans. He is crate trained, walks well on a leash, is super smart (he runs in the house and runs right to sit crate and sits for someone to pick him up and put him in - it's up high). Freckles will easily house train if put on a schedule. This is a super awesome dog! He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. Have you been looking for a super adorable new best friend? If so, contact us at info.caresga@gmail.com for an adoption application or you can download one directly from our website at www.caresga.org. We do adopt up North and all over so just ask! Vet reference is required so please make sure you have perfect vet history (including providing monthly heartworm prevention).
Adoption fees for puppies are $300, adults dogs are $250 and senior dogs are $150. This includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella and rabies, de-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a mini micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. All animals are also on a monthly regime of flea and heartworm medication. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip is included with the adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include a puppy training book, the Puppy Primer by Patricia McConnell, to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.
We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
