Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2 year old, 55 pounds. What an angel! Chris is almost the perfect dog, unless you hate when the dog gets in your clean laundry pile to sleep before you have a chance to fold it. Then maybe he isnt perfect for you. LOL
Chris is a another one of our goofballs. He is very sweet, loves everyone he meets and makes me laugh everyday when he flip is his head around and his ears go flying or he rubs his butt up against my pants leg to get my attention. LOL He loves other dogs and loves to play but his person is the most important thing to him. He goes in his crate on command and he loves to go for walks. He pulls a little on leash when he sees something fun to chase or when I am not getting to the pet store door fast enough. Chris is mostly mellow. He hangs around the house all day doing nothing but waiting. He is waiting for his walk. He is waiting for his dog park visits. He waiting to get in the car and go on an adventure. While Chris isn't hyper all the time, he does need a person who enjoys being outside but can also appreciate relaxation time. Oh and he loves to get in the laundry. LOL
History: A family we were aware of (see Jade above), got Chris after they dumped Jade. He was a small pup. When he was about 4-5 months old they threw him out of the house. He wandered the neighborhood alone and came back home to lay on the porch and eat. The neighbors fed him mostly and gave him love and attention. They told neighbors that they had driven him away 4 times but he always found his way back home. OMG!!!! They were doing it again as they did with Jade! They moved shortly after this and we took Chris into our program. He has been so happy here to have a home, love and friends. He is a very loving, loyal boy.
All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200 ($150 for senior). You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs. To apply, simply go to www.forgottenpaws.com.
Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appointment can be set to meet a dog.
