My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Zoe (HWTH#16290A). She is a Pointer mix, DOB: 7/13/13 (her sibling is Pudding). Zoe weighs approximately 40 pounds and stands 19 inches at the shoulders. They were abandoned on their owner's door step approximately 3 years ago and were fed but mostly kept in a small pen and given no affection, training or socialization. They have been relinquished to Halfway to Home so both dogs can find the loving Forever homes they deserve. Both dogs are starved for affection and have no real life experiences so will need to have an owner willing to give them the love and affection they crave and the life experiences they need. Zoe is the most active of the two dogs. She is high-energy and will need to have a good deal of exercise and playtime to calm her rambunctious nature. She loves to give small kisses and has a submissive side to her personality. When Zoe is thoroughly settled into her new Forever home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Zoe is good with other dogs but may be a little too rambunctious for small dogs and should be introduced slowly. With lots of love and some training, Zoe will make a wonderful canine companion.
