Otis's Story...
Otis is a sweet, loving boy. He loves to play and play and play. He will be a good watch dog and would do better without close neighbors. Otis is fun and frisky. He plays well with other dogs and people. He is lucky enough to have a full tail. He is either full cocker or maybe cockapoo. He had a few whiskers before we shaved him that looked slightly cockapoo. Check out his before and after pictures.

Otis is a 1 yr old boy and is currently in Romoland. He is ready for adoption. You can fill out an application on our website if you would like to meet him. SecondChanceCockerRescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis, a Santa Barbara Cockapoo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo for sale in Santa Barbara, or seeking a Cockapoo dog from a breeder in Santa Barbara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Barbara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Barbara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo breeders who help with Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Barbara paves the way for another one to be saved.
