This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

Meet adorable Yogi! Yogi is half Shih Tzu and half Lhasa Apso. He is a sweet boy looking for a forever home. Can you help Yogi realize his dreams of a wonderful family to grow up with?
Yogi loves people. He loves to follow his people around and just be a part of the family activities. He does very well with other dogs and just seems to fall in the pack like he belonged. He barks a little at other dogs that he doesn't know but once the intro is over, he's fine. He will do fine with children that are mature and past the running and screaming phase. He has exhibited friendliness towards all people. He is leash and crate trained.
Yogi has a really cute personality. He loves to play with toys, and if that's not available, even fuzz on the floor will work!! He loves being a lap dog too. He follows his foster mom where ever she goes and if he wants attention while you are walking away, he will nip at your heels or pull at your pants leg. He also will chew on inappropriate things on occasion so it's important that he be given plenty of appropriate chew toys.
One of his funny quirks, is that he sometimes pees while doing a handstand. Totally self-taught! Maybe there was a snow day in his past where his "low rider" status generated the need for this? He will use a potty pad on bad weather days, but again, the stand up while peeing method leaves room for improvement.
Yogi was surrendered by his owners along with his two siblings due to the fact that they could no longer care for them properly. They were all skinny and severely matted.
