Dumpling's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dumpling's Story...
"My name is DUMPLING, and I'm an affectionate seven-year-old pit bull mix gal who's just as sweet as can be. I'm friendly and respectful, and I'd be a great family pet. I get along well with other dogs, too. I've been known to chase after cats, so I'd need to go to a home without cats. I enjoy going on walks, and I love to hang out with people. A dog like me wants to be a friend and companion, so I'd want to have a doggie bed in the house so I can be part of the family. I've already been house trained, and I sit on command. I'm an all-around good girl. Won't you please come spend some time getting to know me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter? They've got a nice play yard where we can hang out. I hope to see you soon, 'cause I'm ready to be loved and cherished. Love, Dumpling"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dumpling, a El Cajon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
