Tinker's Story...
Meet Tinker. He was pulled from our local shelter in desperate need of some love and a good groom. He looks like a different little dog now. Check out his before and after pics! Tinker is approximately 4 years old, weighs about 10lbs and is just a lovebug. He has excellent leash manners but does like to chase squirrels and other little rodents so he needs to wear a harness to avoid pulling on his neck if he decides to chase. Tink is obsessed with tennis balls! He will fetch for hours! He would make an ideal ball/agility dog due to his want to play w a tennis ball. He gets along great with all other animals (dogs of all sizes, both cats & kittens) and would love an active family to go walking, hiking, and to play ball with. Tinker wants a loving home with a fully fenced yard and plenty of warm laps for him to curl up in. Are you that home?

Tinker will be neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, current on flea meds, and given a fecal and dewormer if needed :). For more info please email bettinav@hotmail.com for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinker, a Hazard Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
