Saffron's Story...
We at Itty Bitty Kitty NY find ourselves overloaded rescuing kittens, young cats and adult cats.

We rescued three spicy tabby and orange kittens that are quite adorable Curry, Turmeric and Saffron.
These orange spices are indoor only.
We have rescued so many more cats and kittens that are not listed.

We are in desperate need of fosters, socializers and of course adopters.
We are a small rescue group located in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, near the original Century 21st department store on 86th Street.
During Kitten Season we were inundated with kittens which we are desperately trying to place into responsible serious safe homes.
Also if you are interested in helping us out and have any time to spare and you would like to volunteer please respond to the attached email address - maryab04@gmail.com
This is an urgent plea for help and support so that these adorable cats and kittens can finally get forever homes.
Thank you so much and take care

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saffron, a Brooklyn American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
