My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lace is an adorable 3 month old Lab-Shepherd mix girl, so friendly and alert, extremely playful. She was at a local shelter with a badly broken elbow. Their only option was amputation, so we took her in and had her seen by an orthopedic surgeon in Columbus, who was able to save the leg! Little Lacy had surgery 8/26/2016 with pins, screws and plates and soon will run like the wind again! Looking for a loving home, after the 6 week recovery period and she is fully healed. We are working on fundraising, as the cost of the surgery is $2500. You can donate on line thru Petfinder, or thru www.YouCaring.com (put in "Letting Lace Run Free") She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She weighs about 20 lbs now, so probably will be Lab sized as an adult. ~~ NOTE: We require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions, especially young dogs of active breeds. No shock collar based "invisible" systems.
