Butter (fostered in TX)'s Story...
Butter is a beautiful Carolina Dog mix that was brought into a vets office and surrendered because he got 'too big', they wanted him to be put to sleep. Thank goodness the vet contacted us so we could offer him rescue and find this young - (yes, he's still a puppy!!) and very sweet boy a home.

Butter has been neutered and he's up to date on all vaccines as well as HW negative and on preventative. He weighs 57 lbs. and he's 9-10 months old. He really loves to play with other dogs and he's not aggressive at all so we'd like to find him a home with at least another dog.

Let's get this boy into his new home so he can have a great life with a family that will love him forever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butter (fostered in TX), a Cranston Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
