Honey's Story...
Honey is a sweet little girl. She was rescued from Rockdale County Animal Control where she was impounded as a stray. She is between 2 and 3 years old and weighs 16 lbs. We think she could be a Jack Russel/ Dachshund mix. She is simply awesome. She is a bundle of energy and loves people and kids. She is a big snuggle bug and wants to be in the middle of everything. She barely barks, is housebroken and great with other pets. We would love to see her in an active family who have either another dog for her to play with or respectful kids who like to play and run with her. Honey wants to party with hr family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Lawrenceville Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Lawrenceville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Lawrenceville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceville paves the way for another one to be saved.
