Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everyone!
I am one of the lucky Louisiana Flood Survivors.
Hi my name is dream, I am a female black lab mix and I'm approximately 16 months old. I am crate trained, house trained, and I love everybody. I would do better in a home with a nice fenced-in yard because I love to run and be outdoors as i am a very active girl. I love going for long walks, going for long car rides to the dog park, and taking a nice soapy bath. I like to sit next to you while you're watching TV or I'm very content with my squeaky stuffed toys and my chew bones filled with Kong peanut butter. I do pretty good with my feline siblings but sometimes I do get excited and want to play and I might bark at them but if you correct me I will listen. Please come meet me, i am a good girl.
My family could no longer keep me during these horrible times as they did not know where they were going to end up and there were not very many options for me. My family thought it was best to get me to safety and I would be one less thing for them to worry about. I have seen more in the last 2 weeks than any puppy should ever have to. I am glad to have been rescued but I feel terrible for my friends and family who are still in Louisiana. My rescue has been partnered with another great resuce and they have delivered more food, supplies and necessities than I can even list and they are continuing their effort until my friends and family are back on their feet.
Please pray for the victims of Louisiana!
I am already fixed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, fecal and heartworm tested (and treated as necessary) if age appropriate, flea and tick prevention treatment, dental if recommended by our vet and a complimentary vet visit at one of our partner vets. What more could a new family ask for?
