Radar's Story...
Meet Radar....the bouncy boy with incredible ears. Isn't he a doll? This 5 month old rat terrier mix pup is all about fun and games. He is 17 pounds of "let's play ball!"

Radar has all of the energy you would expect from a puppy. He is a smart little fellow and is crate-trained, doing well with his leash work and is in the process of being house-trained.

With his energy level, we don't recommend a home with children under 5. Watch him play ball in the video and you'll see why. He would be great with older children who want a dog to play with.

Radar has been neutered, vaccinated and chipped. We pre-pay the lifetime registration for the chip. If Radar looks like the perfect companion for your family, email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application. That is the first step in the adoption process. Radar's adoption/vetting fee is $150..00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Radar, a Mount Ida Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Mount Ida, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Mount Ida.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Ida already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Ida breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Ida paves the way for another one to be saved.
