Daisy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Daisy's Story...
Daisy was adopted from a rescue at the age of 3. Sadly, years later her human passed away. The family tells us that when he was very sick with leukemia, he laid on the couch all day in the end. Daisy would lie down on the floor beside him for hours, as if to protect him. She is a very sweet dog, with lots of love to share. Daisy gets along well with the other dogs at her foster home. However, she would be fine as an only pet, she may even prefer it as she was the only pet in her last home. Daisy is very calm natured and just wants to be near a person who loves her.

Daisy would do best in a calm environment. She is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She walks well on a leash, and is housetrained and crate trained. She was born in 2008 and weighs approximately 35lbs.

Adoption Contribution $150 -$250. SPDR is a volunteer run rescue, every penny goes to the care of our dogs. Please contact us at SacredPawsDogs@gmail.com to meet this special girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Van Alstyne Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Van Alstyne, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Van Alstyne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Alstyne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Alstyne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Alstyne paves the way for another one to be saved.
