Hi there!  My name is Polly, and I’m so happy to be warm and safe this winter season.  I can’t say for sure where I came from, but I sure am glad that I ended up in a foster home with A Tail of 4 Paws Animal Rescue.  I finally have a warm bed to sleep in, a meal twice a day, and I don’t have to worry about where I’m going to hide to be safe.   I think I am about 6-7 months old and have been fully vetted.  By that I mean that I am spayed, have all of my vaccinations, am parasite free, and I am microchipped.  Whew, I’ve been through the ringer with all of that stuff.  Anyway, I used to be a shy girl, and sometimes I still am.  My foster mom put a younger kitten in my room with me to keep me company.  Wouldn’t you know it, that kitten was having a lot more fun than I was, so I watched him and learned.  I never knew that toys and scratching posts could be so much fun!   I watched my little kitten brother ask for attention when he wanted it, and I learned how to do that too!  I like to sit on  laps where I can get a lot of pets.  I even started purring!   I’d be happier in a quieter home with older children.  I can learn to like another cat, but I’m not so sure about dogs.  I’ve met my foster mom’s German Shepherd, but I wasn’t too keen on that.  In a new environment, I would need some patience until I get myself acclimated and comfy.  I will come to you when I feel safe.  Then I promise to give you all the love I can  forever and ever.  Won’t you consider being my permanent home?  I would love to keep you company.  Sincerely, Polly.

If you are interested in meeting me please go to the website www.atailof4paws.org and print out the adoption application. Once completed please email back to our email rescue@atailof4paws.org. My adoption fee is $125
