Scout's Story...

Scout was born outside to a feral mom. She is very timid and nervous right now, and her foster mom is trying hard to socialize her. Most every night, she settles into her foster’s lap and relaxes, but she needs to get used to other people, too. She is very curious and wants to be loved, but is unsure how to accept it. This little girl needs a quiet and stable environment and an experienced cat person so she can grow and blossom. Please give her a second chance in life!

Please contact Amy at (315) 414-7169 and / or Voice4TheVoicelessAdoptions@gmail.com for information on how to adopt Scout.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Syracuse Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
