Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Clancy! Clancy is an owner surrender who is so very sweet, and great with dogs He is about 4 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. His ideal weight will be 50 pounds.
Clancy came into rescue un-neutered and was neutered on September 15th. In his previous home, his owners indicated that he was completely unhousetrained and this was the reason for surrender to rescue. In his foster home, Clancy does not have accidents and is beautifully crate trained as well. He requires a consistent routine of crating when away and regular potty breaks, and with this structure, is perfectly house trained and successful.
Clancy is a sweet as they come! He enjoys the other dogs in his foster home, and has really opened up to be an energetic and playful dog. He would love a dog companion to play with. He is good with children and would do well in a family!
Clancy requires a fenced yard, as he is very athletic, energetic and has a love for chasing the birds. He does not prefer to potty on a leash, and a fenced yard will also help with potty training. He would do best in a family with who can provide him exercise, consistency and lots of belly rubs.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
