Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Louie's Story...
This 1.5 year old lab/pit mix was found was found in winter 2016 chained to a fence sitting in his own waste. The chain was so short he could only sit or stand. It is unclear how long he had been left outside in the cold. Despite a rough beginning, Louie has an great disposition. He is silly, playful and a total cuddle bug. He likes being next to his humans. He loves people and is great with dogs. If you are looking for a buddy to do outdoor activities with during the day and cuddle with at night, Louie is the prefect boy for you.

In the kennel, Louie is a staff and volunteer favorite! He has the most perfect deposition. He is most likely potty trained as he never goes in his cage and always waits until he goes on his walks. He gets along with every dog that he has met at the kennel. He is strong, but a harness will fix that and make it easier to walk him. He is a sweetheart. Give sweet Louie a chance!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Brunswick Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Brunswick, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
