Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everyone!
I am one of the lucky Louisiana Flood Survivors.
Sweet, sweet Bitsy is an 18 month old pitbull mix who was relinquished in Louisiana after her family lost everything in the flood. Homeless and unable to care for Bitsy, they entrusted Wagging Hearts to find her a new forever home.
Bitsy enjoys the company of dogs, adores kids but should probably live in a home without cats as she shows a little too much interest in them. Bitsy is a snuggle bug who wants nothing more than to be with her foster family and go for walks. She is up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Bitsy please go to our website and submit an adoption application.
My family could no longer keep me during these horrible times as they did not know where they were going to end up and there were not very many options for me. My family thought it was best to get me to safety and I would be one less thing for them to worry about. I have seen more in the last 2 weeks than any puppy should ever have to. I am glad to have been rescued but I feel terrible for my friends and family who are still in Louisiana. My rescue has been partnered with another great resuce and they have delivered more food, supplies and necessities than I can even list and they are continuing their effort until my friends and family are back on their feet.
Please pray for the victims of Louisiana!
I am already fixed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, fecal and heartworm tested (and treated as necessary) if age appropriate, flea and tick prevention treatment, dental if recommended by our vet and a complimentary vet visit at one of our partner vets. What more could a new family ask for?
If you are already in love with me please submit a completed application from www.wagginghearts.org to begin the approval process. Please contact adoptions@wagginghearts.org if you have any questions!
