Jake's Story...
Jake is looking for a home. This happy-go-lucky boy is more mature at 10 years old, but he still has lots of vim and vigor. He gets along with everybody and is a great dog. He's very healthy and has had great veterinary care from his long-time owner who has become ill and must give him up. Apply today for this sweetie.

Jake has been fixed, vaccinated for DHLP-P and Rabies, micro-chipped, wormed, flea treated, and heartworm tested. ($550 worth of veterinary care.) If you are interested and have a fenced in yard, please fill out an adoption application first. Allow a day or two to process the application and then call Lisa at 614 254-4641 if she has not contacted you already.
Adoption fee: $175

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Columbus Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
