Introducing the newest MCP rescue pack member and a very special guy, Bravo! Bravo was confiscated from his owner for cruelty/neglect when he, along with half a dozen other dogs, was found living in a tiny crate in filthy conditions on a porch. Only 8 months old when he arrived at Chicago's Animal Control, he spent the next five and a half months of life confined to a cage virtually 24 hours a day while his court case wound through the system and he had the chance to leave with MCP for a foster home. The story of Bravo's first year of life is heartbreaking, but he's anything but broken.....He's one of the goofiest, most playful and joyful dog we've ever met.
He's catching up on his life skills and working on basic manners but is learning quickly. He is friendly with other dogs but can be too much got shy or gentler dogs. He would do best in a home without small kids until he learns not to bowl people over with excitement and enthusiasm.
