My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GONZO is a 1.5 year old neutered yellow female Lab who weighs 35 pounds. Gonzo is a very cute and friendly boy. He loves people and is a very affectionate boy. Gonzo is house trained and crate trained. He is used to being crated while his family is away from the home. Gonzo enjoys going for walks, loves to play outside, and will retrieve balls for as long as you will throw them for him. He is good with other dogs. He used to live with another Lab. From evaluator: Gonzo is such a cute boy! He is a pocket size Lab. He was very excited to meet me but he quickly settled down. He is a very friendly boy and will make a great addition to his new family. Owner give up to Lab Rescue due to child in the home not being gentle with Gonzo and making him nervous. He is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update: Gonzo was a perfect gentleman the first night in his foster home. He rode well in the car on the way and introductions with the resident lab were easy. He was so happy when he found a tennis ball in the yard and is so silly when he throws the tennis ball to you to throw. Gonzo quickly showed his foster mom that he LOVES to snuggle! He is just so adorable! Last night he slept in bed with his foster mom and did not move all night. This morning, he joined the resident lab on his neighborhood walk and did great! He was so excited when he saw another person walking. He was all tail wags and happy smiles! He has yet to formally meet the resident cat, but did notice her under the bed. He appears to be a well behaved boy and has been an easy addition to his foster home so far! Gonzo is full of lab personality all packed into a little body!
