Wyndell's Story...
Hi! My name is Wyndell and I am a very loving, friendly and easygoing boy and a SUPER LUCKY one, too! I was hit by a car and our vet's brother found me and rushed me in and I had to have my skin grafted and sewn back on, that's why I have that big scar on my back. I am totally healed and no worse for the wear. I LOVE other dogs and really enjoy socializing and I am also good with kids and cats. I have a very easygoing and sweet personality and am a very well behaved obedient boy. I am about 3 years old and weigh 7 pounds. I am neutered, microchipped, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $250, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport if my new family lives in the northeast USA. I am currently being fostered in South Carolina, but I can catch a ride up north to meet my new family. Please email my rescue at daybeforetherainbow@gmail.com to get an adoption application! Thanks for checking me out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wyndell, a Newark Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Newark, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
