TAZ's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

TAZ's Story...
TAZ is a 3 year old blue heeler/shepherd mix around 40-50#s. Taz is a gentle soul, but is more of a loner around large crowds and other dogs. Taz would do best as an only dog and with no children under 10 years or old. He has not been around cats. Taz has graduated from the SCAR program, a 12 week inmate training program provided through the Virginia Department of Corrections. He will make a great family dog in a calm household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TAZ, a Coeburn Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Coeburn, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Coeburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coeburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coeburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coeburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
