Beni's Story...
**Adoption Pending**
This mild mannered snuggle bug is very low maintenance, a couple of walks a day and a couch to flop on and he's happy. Oh wait, don't forget the belly rubs, he's a big fan! Beni came to our rescue just over two years when he was rescued as a stray from the streets of Mexico. While napping one day, his front paws were run over and despite his rescuers best efforts, they were only able to save one leg. You would never know he was missing a leg though, he is very capable and doesn't let it slow him down at all. Beni is great with people but can be vocal at first and is good with respectful dogs although a proper introduction will be required. He needs a home without young children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beni, a King City Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Whippet for sale in King City, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Whippet dog from a breeder in King City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in King City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a King City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Whippet breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in King City paves the way for another one to be saved.
