Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thor is new to rescue! This absolutely handsome boy is a heart stealer! Thor’s foster home is going to have a hard time giving him up.
Thor lost his home when his family moved from a house to an apartment and were unable to take him with them. He is currently in a foster home with another shepherd and a Chihuahua. We will be testing him with cats, shortly. Thor enjoys playing with the other dog in the foster home. He is a young active boy.
Thor is a very sensitive dog. He needs someone who is a confident yet loving owner. Thor wants to please and yet seems to be lost since losing his home.
Thor has excellent house manners and loves to follow his person around the home. He is also crate-trained and is very quiet in his crate. Thor will do well in a house with a fenced yard. His ideal home is a single or adult couple who either works full time or is retired. Thor is very adaptable to any household. He is quite a catch with amazing looks to match!

The adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract.
Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
