Bogart's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Bogart's Story...
Bogart was rescued with his foster sister, Lauren, from the Royse City Animal Shelter. They were named after the timeless couple, Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart. Bogart is approximately 1 year old and is a Heeler Mix. He is lean and tall, weighing around 35 pounds. Bogart is timid, but once he gets to know you, he warms up rather quickly. He loves to chase and play, in the backyard, with his siblings. Chewing on his toys, Nylabones and playing ball are also favorite activities. Bogart is fully vetted, house broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and rides in the car comfortably. He also gets along very well with Kitties. If you see that Bogart would make a perfect addition to your family, please contact BCRR! Interested in adopting?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogart, a Allen Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Allen, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Allen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen paves the way for another one to be saved.
