SAM's Story...
Hello, My name is SAM.
I was found roaming with my buddy and brought to
a local shelter. It was scary there! A nice lady rescued me
and took me to a nice man's house who is a trainer. He taught
me how to be a great dog with good manners. You see, I had always
lived on a chain. Now, I have graduated with honors and am looking
for my forever family. I will make you smile and laugh. I am silly
and like to have lots of fun. I enjoy running in the yard, practicing
commands, sit, stay, come...I love to work on these and make my
trainer proud. I will be the best family member and love you unconditionally.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SAM, a Arlington Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
