My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Initial Bio 8-26-16 Jack is an adorable Yorkie boy. He is 8.5 years old and only 6.5 pounds. This sweetie is being fostered in Suwannee, GA.

Jack's adoption fee is $300 and includes all vetting (neuter/spay, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Jack by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.

Little Jack is such a cute little fellow. He really is a good boy. He is house trained, loves cars rides, and he loves to eat. What Jack doesn’t like is to be crated and babies. All was well in Jack’s world until that darn baby came along and started to crawl and chase him all over the house. There was no escaping from the baby, so he did what dogs do, and he snapped at her. And if that wasn’t enough, another baby is coming in a month.

Sadly Jack’s owners had to do the right thing for Jack and for their very young family, so Jack became a United Yorkie Rescue dog. Jack is now so happy in his foster home. There are no babies and a nice foster sister to play with and two really nice foster parents.

Jack will only need to be updated on his vaccinations and maybe have a dental, and then he will be ready for his forever home. Although his foster parents are just starting to get to know him, they know he would be a great dog for someone who likes to take long walks and live an active lifestyle, but no young kids ever for Jack in his forever home.
Jack needs an active home...he used to go on four mile runs with his former daddy. He would run until he just couldn't and then his daddy would pick him up and carry him home. Jack likes long, fast paced walks with breaks for leaving is mark and reading the marks from other dogs on tress and posts. He is not getting his run in anymore and he misses it.

If you think this cutie is the boy for you, please fill out an adoption application for him.
