Diesel's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Diesel's Story...
Diesel is the "Little Engine that Could." His magnetic personality comes forth when he wants to snuggle in your arms. Having one eye does not slow him down at all, but of course being aware of his environment is important: no sharp corners, sticky bushes, and definitely no cats! Diesel gets along with dogs his own size, and of course, loves attention from his humans. Diesel had poor dentition and has only a few teeth left, and he has a mild valve leak in his heart, but the doctor says it's nothing to be concerned about, just the occasional monitoring.

He knows a few command such as "sit", "no", and "come", and is learning new ones like "stay" and "leave it." He's 7-9 years old, neutered, up to date on his shots, testing heartworm negative, on monthly heartworm preventive, crate trained, walks well on the leash, and he loves to go on car rides. He is a low-key dog and would prefer a low-key household. Did we mention he loves to snuggle in your arms? You won't find a better companion than Diesel!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Courtland Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Courtland, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Courtland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Courtland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Courtland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Courtland paves the way for another one to be saved.
