OUR Names Lucy and Ricky Age: 1 year old Disability: Congenital hip abnormalities, NO surgery is needed per our orthopedic veterinarian. Breed/Weight: Hound Mix's, 45 pounds History Ricky and Lucy - These 2 young dogs were found in a cardboard box outside a vet office with cigarette burns, shunned by many for adoption, their home was the vets office in their outside kennels. Finally, a young woman reached out to us for help. Lucy and Ricky, were in desperate need for a new beginning and we answered the call. They have been thru the worst - now the best is here and yet to come. We call these 2 our dynamic duo, 2 peas in a pod, are totally connected and love the companionship of one another. We could separate them after spending time with them we soon realize they are bonded pair. They play together, sleep together and don’t even mind sharing food bowls. When they are out playing they will search each other out, if they become become separated. They are playful and fun and sweet dogs, just need to come meet them and see for yourself. Every night we look out our cameras and see them sleeping on the same bed always touching one another, its truly are connected to one another. If you are interested in meeting them, please complete our Adoption Application

Our Adoption Process...
Potential adoptors are able to come see the pet of interest by appointment at our rescue facility. There pets need to come also to introduce the dogs together. Then an adoption contract is filled out, and if approved with reference and home check, there is then a final contract with a $300.00 adoption fee.
