REECE's Story...
Meet Reece, not only is he beautiful, but he is the sweetest little guy. He is friendly and happy puppy…fairly active, and like most puppies his age, he loves to run and play with his kennel mates. He loves people and gets along great with other dogs. His right eye has a small blue spot in it…really pretty. He showed up at someone’s home, I don’t know if he was thrown out or wandered off…the good thing is that he was never in a shelter. Since he was found we don’t have any history on him and we, along with our veterinary staff, are gestimating his breed. Reece is sure to make some lucky family a wonderful companion. He was born around 4/23/16 making him approximately 4 months old and weighing 14 pounds at the time of this posting (9/1/16). He has been neutered, fecal tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Reece is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

REECE, a Hartford Golden Retriever/Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Corgi for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Corgi puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
