My mom passed away a few months ago very unexpectedly. Barbie and her two companions, Ben and Charlie were like her children. She saved all three either from being run over by a car or from the back alley where she got her nails done. My mom loved these three cats as much as she loved her human children.
Barbie is all white with blue eyes and about 12 years old. She is completely deaf. Although you may think this makes her harder to care for, the truth is actually the opposite of that. She is so easy to take care of because all she does is SLEEP! Nothing wakes her up, but somehow she just knows when there is food being poured into her bowl because that jolts her out of her sleep every time. When she is awake, Barbie is a LOVER. Barbie is super small, weighing only about 6 lbs. In addition to being good with other cats and kids, Barbie has had experience around dogs although it has been a few years ago. It is very important to me that Barbie finds the right home and be loved as much as my mom loved her.
