Anna's Story...
Anna is adorable. She weighs 14-16 pounds and has long legs and petite features. Anna is feisty, fun and smart.

She is 9 months old and has the best temperament. She can be touched anywhere and shows no sign of aggression or anxiety. She is active but not over the top. She loves all people and other dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a dog door, she is house broken in this setting. I have not crated her because some one is almost always home or she has the other dogs to keep her busy. She comes when I call her whether in the house or in the yard.

Anna would make a great addition to most any home. I think she would love kids. She is what I call an "easier keeper" for a puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna, a Avon Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Avon, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
