Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This darling little boy was dropped in a drop box at a kill shelter. He came with no information or name. So the kind ladies at the pound named him Chip.
Rescue was called because Chip can only see shadows, and he was overlooked at the shelter. Can you believe he was less than one day away from being put to sleep at the shelter?
We saw his picture and instantly fell in love with the little boy. Our vet feels he is about 8 years old. Other than being nearly blind, Chip is in excellent heath according to our vet.
Chip was a little nervous when he came to rescue with the many dogs at the foster home, but he has adjusted well. Chip does not bark, is getting along fine with the other dogs, and getting adjusted to his foster home. He loves for you to pick him up and give him love and to cuddle.
We know it is a long shot, but hoping a family can look into their hearts and give him a forever home. I promise he will be the best boy and you will know unconditional love. Chip is full of LOVE, and I know that he was someone's companion because he is 100% house trained, crate trained, and just so darn sweet. If someone could see inside Chip you would see a heart of sweetness.
He is a quiet boy who loves to be cuddled and warm, and enjoys naps. He has plenty of life to live and love to give.
Please consider adopting little Chip. Adopting a dog who is just a little bit special can be a very rewarding thing to do.
Chip's adoption fee is $100.
We require all of our dogs to be maintained on Heartworm prevention and vaccinated in accordance with your veterinarian's protocol.
