Luella's Story...
This quiet cutie is Luella and she is looking for her loving forever home. Luella is a shy girl who takes some patient love to come out of her shell. Once she does, she's a calm companion cat who will likely sit next to you on the couch so she can be pet. Luella came to us with her buddy Ty and the she could likely live with an easy-going male cat who won't challenge her in the future. She really needs a home without dogs because they are simply too overwhelming. She'd also like a home with older kids or adults only who will give her the time she needs to flourish. If you are looking for a mellow sweetheart of a cat and would like to meet Luella, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application so you can spend some quality time with her today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luella, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
