I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Misty (declawed)'s Story...
My name is Misty, and I am a beautiful declawed tortoiseshell Persian girl who was born in about 2011. Do I not have the cutest face? My picture may be a little blurry, but I assure you that I am adorable!
I am such a sweet girl, but I have to find a new family to love me through no fault of my own. You see, my dad passed away in February, and my mom cannot care for me any more because she had heart surgery AND a stroke in April.
I am a purrfect girl and would be so delighted if you would give me a chance! I promise to give you lots of love and attention.
Misty is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Misty, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty (declawed), a Houston Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Houston, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
