Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hoshi means “star” in Japanese, and that’s a good description for this 5-year-old male red Shiba Inu. He lived with one family his whole life, as an only dog with 2 small human brothers; unfortunately, due to lack of training, he nipped at strangers on three separate occasions. Although his family took very good care of him and loved him, they gave him to DCSIR to rehome him with a family who would be able to give him the attention and training he deserves.
Hoshi has proven to be an energetic and fun-loving pup, enjoying playing with other dogs and also taking field trips for hiking or kayaking!
