Homer's Story...
Howdy folks! My name is Homer. I am a white and black male short haired kitty. I am only 3 months old. I was brought to the shelter after being left in the heat at Walmart with my momma and siblings when we were just a day old. The volunteers have been taking great care of us. I love to romp around the kennel with my siblings and chase all the toys. I love attention and being petted. I will purr to show you how much I love you. Although they are taking great care of me I am looking for my furever home to explore and play. My adoption fee of $95 is very inclusive – I am neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV and I am current on monthly Frontline. Please consider making me part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Homer, a Hawk Point Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hawk Point, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hawk Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawk Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawk Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawk Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
