My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is an 8 year old female Boston Terrier, who weighs 20 lbs. She is currently being fostered in Gatineau, Quebec.

Making new friends is what Molly enjoys most, and when people meet her, the feeling is mutual. Extremely affable and affectionate, she loves being petted and having her belly rubbed almost as much as she loves giving kisses. And being a Boston, she’s a dedicated sun worshiper, stretching out by a window or patio door to soak up the rays and the heat. She likes to go for walks, which for curious Molly, are more like strolls since she tends to stop and sniff, stop and sniff along the way. Happiest at bedtime because that means more cuddle time, she’s in doggy heaven when allowed to nestle under the blankets of the "big" bed and curl up by her foster mom’s side. She can, however, be easily coaxed to sleep in her own doggy bed with the simple point of a finger. Quirky at mealtimes, she’ll grab mouthfuls of kibble from her bowl, then run off to eat them elsewhere, and due to a mild skin allergy (controlled by vet recommended food and occasional medication), she’s developed a habit of licking herself. Having missed out on the basics of proper puppy behaviour, Molly basically knows no commands, has not been properly socialized with other dogs, and is neither fully crate nor housetrained. Needing to make up for lost time, what she needs now is a home without pets or young children, but with loving and compassionate adopters committed to patiently teaching her all that she’s missed (from commands and socialization to crate and housetraining), in return for Molly’s affection and kisses forever.
