The most perfect gentleman in the bully world just entered our care. Although his health is a mess, his spirit is so pure and beautiful. We cleaned him up a little, but didn't want to go too far. His gums are pale, pale white and his tongue purple. Perhaps anemia or Cushings or heartworm? His nails....take a look. And his skin. His poor skin. His collar and leash were disgusting. He hasn't been bathed in who knows how long. He held his paws up for his nail trim and let us wash him gently and clean his ears. He sits beautifully for treats and gives the most adorable "shake." He wants to climb into your lap to be loved. He does stairs and seems gentle with other animals. Curious and kind. This boy is something special. This is why we do what we do! Welcome to the good life Bosco! Please help us by donating to http://shopcebr.com/products/donation so we can continue to help bullies like Bosco! About Our Rescue Group...
We are the gold standard, the oldest, most experienced, top-notch pure-breed English Bulldog rescue in the Midwest. Our bullies get the highest level of care and commitment. They spend their time with us in foster homes where they get daily love and attention. No cages, no institutions.
We are an Illinois licensed shelter and a 501c3 charitable organization. The care we provide our English bulldogs, including a high quality diet, the best veterinary care from a bulldog specialist, and behavioral evaluations, exceeds any rescue organization around. Your contributions to help care for our bullies would be so appreciated as each rescue typically costs us more in care than the adoption fees we collect. All donations are tax deductible as provided by law. To donate, visit our secure online donation site: http://shopcebr.com/products/donation.
Please join Chicago English Bulldog Rescue at our events and at our monthly Meetups! To learn more about where to find us visit www.ebullymatch.com and click on the Events Tab, or visit the Chicago English Bulldog Rescue Meetup site at:
We know there are so many wonderful homes out there in other states and other parts of Illinois that we simply can't get to.
2. We will only consider a home with an application on file. So, if you don't have your application on file with us, please fill one out. To fill out our application, please visit: http://ebullymatch.com/Adopt.html.
3. Each application is thoroughly reviewed and will either pass through to a phone interview, or will not move forward. We will contact you if we feel you make the cut. We also require an in-home interview and will advise if you have made it through to that round.
4. Each bulldog will come with an adoption fee that varies from around $575 and up depending on the age and health of the dog. In addition, we require a contract that indicates that if for any reason, you can no longer keep your rescued bulldog, you will contact us directly for rehoming.
