Lana's Story...
Lana is a sweet & silly kitty who is just 2 years old. She is instantly friendly with any person she meets! As you can see by the photos, she is a total cuddly bug (notice the legs of the person that Lana is spooning with!) and even imitates people by standing on her hind feet.

While Lana loves people, she only tolerates other cats & dogs. So she could be adopted in a home with other pets, but don't expect her to bond with them. She's a total people cat!

Who wouldn't want a snuggly cat that will make you laugh constantly?

Email Nancy at or complete an application at if you are interested in our Lana.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lana, a Hazlet American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Hazlet, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hazlet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazlet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazlet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazlet paves the way for another one to be saved.
